Jericho Park is opened both winter and summer. The only time it is closed is at the end of snowmachine season when the trails are very muddy until May 23rd, when they are officially supposed to be re-opened. This time period is called "Mud-Season". Of course, the State actually determines the closing and opening dates.
We are unsure if campground area construction will be started this year or not. We have not had any official word from the State yet.
Hope this helps.

Re: How old do you have to be? There is not age limitations for riding in Jericho Park. I refer you to a pink fold-out pamphlet entitled "2009 NH Off Highway Recreational Vehicle Laws Digest" for the basic laws (any ohrv registration dealer will have it) or go to the NH Fish & Game web site for the specifics laws.
Hope this helps

Hi,
I was wondering how many trail miles are open? I think the last I heard was 40. I've been wanting to make it up there for quite sometime.
Thanks!

Hello, new here. Looking for infor on Jericho and success. 4 of us from So NH who ride Bear Brook and Pawtuckaway want to go north for a weekend of riding, friday and Sat 3-13 and 14.
Are both these parks accessible to 2wd sport quads, hopefully there is enough groomed trails to keep us busy for 2 days? They do groom them right?
Where is the entrance to these 2 parks?
Any info u can give would be much appreciated, I feel like Im going into this blind, none of the guys I ride with are familair with these trails
Any decent hotels/motels close by that cater to avt'ers?
Thanks for any info.

Dan,
I'm not sure this would be the best time to ride sport quads or any quad for that matter on the trails there but that's just my opinion. The snowmobiles really rule the roost in the winter ( rightfully so) and with the warm weather we've been having the trails are likely to be mush.
That said, Jericho is a great place to ride. Plenty of hotels in Gorham to stay at. Entrance to the park is off Rt 110. Once the muddy season is over then the atvs will rule the roost there. The trails are plenty wide and then there are some nice sand pits in the park that you are allowed to ride. There was one black diamond trail open last fall too that is short but quite technical. The park is patroled often which is nice as folks really follow the rules and don't get out of hand. Some great views from the top trail. Not much mud but the long range plan calls for a mud pit to be built!
The Success trails are across the river and today are not connected to the Jericho trails for atv's. There is presently a bill in the house that Berlin is trying to get passed to allow atv's to ride certain streets within the city so the trail will be connected. Se the other post.

Thanks for the info Ken. I may back out of the trip and wait till the summer, but my 3 buddies are probably still gonna go. Gorham is where they were looking for a hotel. Thanks again

I am planning on riding this June. Does anyone know of a campground in the area, or one that might connect to Jerico?

Funny you should ask about a campground as I just did some research on that last night. There is Moosebrook State Park in Gorham that's not too far away. We'regoing up in July with a bunch of family's and liked that location. The ladies will head to North conway for the day to shop and a spa and the guys and sons are going to drive over to Jericho and ride for the day. The campground is small and I've never been there but other NH state campgrounds have been clean and well run.
