I think the concept of Festival is better... not to mention better marketing.

I agree that "Festival" is a ton more appealing from a marketing standpoint. keep the mud pit a main aspect of the Festival, which ALSO includes hundreds of miles of non-mud trail riding, vendors, demos, food, fun, tours through Berlin, etc.......
are these other items part of the Festival?
(just my 2 cents! what's up everyone?)

Well, Just met with BoT and it was a good meeting. We are close to signing the Title Sponsor for this years 2011 Jericho ATV Festival, hope to have the contract signed next week. This years event will be moved over to the area near the mud pit. We are going to clear a little more land and fix some things up, to create an event area of sorts. Also in talks with CR Helicopters, they are looking to come back this year to fly people around the area. There is a lot more news to come. Still going to need club members to help out. stay tuned for more.... Can't wait till the snow goes....I have had enough.....

Hey all,
We have been waiting for the contract to be signed. It has been approved by Can-Am, so it is official. The 2nd annual "Can-Am Jericho ATV Festival" will be July 30th & 31st, 2011 in Berlin NH. Can Am has signed on to be the title sponsor this year. They have secured their trailer of demo's, so there will be plenty of new things to ride. So save this date and come and ride....

Great News. Any interest from the other mannies?
Are all the waivers applied for? And what is the possibility of NHParks-BoT allowing for 'rough' camping in the proposed campground to show future potential?

"Just heard from one campground property owner that they are almost completely sold out for the festival weekend! Better book your stay NOW! (Thinkin' this means we'll have plenty of folks riding with us this year...)"
I got this from a friend. This Campground is near Jericho Mountain State Park, We are still working on the festival, CR Helicopters is coming back this year, not sure how much they are asking for rides, but I know a lot of people had fun on there rides of the area with them last year.
Stay tuned for more...
