Not really talking about the Festival. That belongs to NCC.
I'm wondering what else might be ventured in the area.

This is out of the Berlin Daily Sun "The free festival will include a poker run, scavenger hunt, and a mud pit. Clark said there will also be music and kids’ activities. Manufacturers and local dealers will be on hand with the latest off-highway vehicles including ATVs, side-by-sides and trail bikes available in many cases to demo."
I am not sure if everybody saw this...there is going to be a mud pit at the July ATV Festival. I don't know all of the details, but hope to have all the details early this week. I do know that there will be different classes and there will be a small charge, which is going towards covering the cost of the materials involved in making the pit itself.
Stay tuned for more.....

I seem to remember someplace the description was like 250 ft. So anything close will be a really nice one.

Not sure what your asking. If the weather is good, the attendance should be high... as the marketing was top rate.
If your mistaking my suggestion of a second event to imply otherwise... its a false presumption.

Get ready for mud pit madness!Come play in the mud at Jericho Mountain State Park's new mud pit! It's big enough for four riders to race at once. Since the first competition in the new pit will be part of the Jericho ATV Festival, we can't tell you just how deep the mud will be, but you might just want to bring your snorkel if you're planning on competing. Registration will be from 8:30 to 10am on Saturday. Registration fees will be $5 per run for amateurs, $10 per run for semi-pros and $15 for UTVs. initial runs will be Saturday at 11am, with the finals and award of the cash prizes on Sunday. For more information about the mud pit competition, email Randy Cicchetto of Jericho Motorsports or call him at 603-752-7424.

The good weather will bring the Out-of-Staters that the park & State need. Its very hard to compete with Maine, Vermont, & Quebec... so a good family-friendly event that bolsters more tourism to the region is the goal. A very tough goal.

So where in any of them 3 states/provinces is there a trail system such as Jericho Park?

Maine is ten times larger trail system than all of NH combined, with about four times the number of NH miles in connected systems... far outshining Jericho. But doesn't have winter access and I've been told is not UTV-friendly (largest growing segment of motorized offroad users).
VT is about double the size of NH, about the same connectivity... and all UTV-friendly. But also does not have winter access.
Quebec is About twice the size of Maine, when reciprocity with Ontario is taken into consideration. All UTV-friendly, and has winter access. Also has a differentiated trail pass system that is more tourist-orientated.
Mass & other States south of us have cheaper registration, but very few ATV trails and no UTV trails that I can recall.
NHs strong points for Out-of-staters are really winter access and Rally Permitted (waived registration) events.

As president of the Merrimack Valley Trail Riders (Trail bike club) we wish you, the town of Berlin and State BOT all the best in the first Jericho ATV/Bike festival. There has been work being done by two wheeled enthusiasts to provide trail more appropriate for there OHRV use. Time and the weight of government slowed the process. I believe the people who are spearheading the effort, with the approval of the AV Club, will continue and hope to have something more to offer the two wheeled community in the next Jericho Festival. I know from conversation there are many within our Club who had looked forward to a dual sport ride as being part of the Festival. Good luck and happy trails to all!
