Here are the details. Sorry for the delay....very busy month. On Oct 3rd, 2009 at 9:00 am, the AV ATV Club will be holding it's annual "Fall Foliage & Can Food Drive". We will be leaving from Jericho Motorsports on Jericho Road(Route 110) It looks like the leaves will be just right for viewing. Erik, our trailmaster is hard at work planning a nice scenic ride through Jericho Mountain State Park. It cost nothing to ride, there are some great views of the valley. We are collecting non-perishable food for the Tri-County Food pantry. Last year we donated about 35 to 40 pounds of can goods and other items. The City of Berlin is also running the annual River Fire along the Androscoggin River. There are all kinds of things going on at the Heritage Park. See all the events at www.northernforestheritage.org/river_fire.htm. Come see the leaves turn on an ATV tour and help the food pantry. Hope to see you all on the Oct 3rd. See you all on the trails....

Please check the weather before you head out and up to the area. I see by WMUR weather forecast, it looks like some heavy rain for friday night and most of the day Saturday.

After checking the weather from several different websites and the TV, it looks like it is going to do nothing but rain today. So, the fall foliage and food drive is canceled.
We'll try again next year....

There were some showers here and there but the full on rain held off most of the day. Most of us rode about 3 1/2 to 4 hours but some of us stayed as long as 6 hours. Good foliage views!
