Eric J.,Cam, Emmie, AJ., and J.T. and I rode most of Jericho Today covering 32 miles....Board Walk and a new Trail are still closed for work and several others need clean up from Logging this winter. The rest were good to fair with spot muddy areas... The new trail up beyond the scenic view is fantastic!!! It has great views and zig zags down the mountain side.....Wow! The Power line Trail where the Logging yard mess trashed the trail needs dozer work .....avoid it unless you like bumps, stumps and mud!!! ;D

Went up to the trails last weekend. Saturday, there was no wind , and the trails were dusty, if you were not in the front. Sunday was much better, after the rain, kept the dust down.

Of course this is a couple weeks old now, but, I spent the entire day 5/30 with guests on the Millsfield trails - Just short of 80 miles that day. The dust was pretty bad in spots, but you have to contend with that, just a fact of riding. I found the signage in the NW corner to be poor (getting to Log Haven etc...), but overall it was posted. I know this area well on a sled, and sometimes I knew I was suppose to turn, but no sign so I moved on only to have to back track.
These same guests rode Jericho the following day by themselves and had a great time, their only comment was that on the rougher terrian there was no out if you got yourself in to deep - just a thought.

Jericho now has one trail closed. We are building one new trail and have three others marked to be finished. The trail closed is due to excessive mud due to logging, holding to much water in the trail. Alot of other work is being done also, toilets are being setup through the park. With all the rain we have been getting this wear the trails are very wet and muddy, some mud is good but it also tears the trails very quick and gives a lot off extra work.

Why is the boy in the second photo wearing a bicycle helmet? obviously that's all they had at the time. Better than no helmet.

RABID you are right if that boy is under 18 he must wear a approved helmet not a bike helmet.
