This if from the White Mountain Ridge Runners website.
Trails are now frozen flat and so wheeled ATV's can travel on them without causing ruts.

Are the small trails even marked with an orange blazer so that a snowmobile with a drag could access them legally?

I'm not sure what you mean by "orange blazer", but the trails are marked with signs and are accessible. There are some snowmobile tracks on some of the atv trails. I thought at one time the AVATV club was gong to ues a side x side with tracks and a drag to groom them. I wonder whatever happened to that idea?

Unless the trail is marked open with an orange blazer... its illegal to ride a snowmobile on it. So a snowmobile with drag would need to be registered as a trail grooming vehicle (and have a drag behind it).
The side x side w/drag might fall into the new statutory limitation for ATV w/ tracks... so I'm not sure how that is going to work.
